in the quarterfinal game played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on
Wednesday.

Nouadihbou 2-0 and goalless draw against Senegalese Olympic De Ngor in their
opening game prior to their Wednesday’s quarterfinal clash with Serrekunda
East.

De Banjul came into the game as the favourite to progress to the semifinal but
were shocked by Serrekunda East on penalties, after the regulation time
finished goalless.

De Banjul will now switch their attention to the 2016-2017 domestic division
one league season following their elimination from the club’s fifty-year
anniversary international football tournament by Serrekunda East on Wednesday.
