Sports Committee (SSC) has banned Ecomong FC’s head coach Peter Sajor for four
games after assaulting the central referee in their mouthwatering tie against
Titan FC in the nawettan under session at the Sifoe Football Field at the
weekend.
SSC has also banned Peter Sajor from watching nawettan games at the Sifoe Football Field during his four-game ban by the sports committee.
SSC expressed their sincere thanks to security personnel in Sifoe for their tireless efforts at maintaining peace and stability at the field.
SSC seizes the opportunity to appeal to the teams, officials, players and supporters to maintain discipline and tolerance during nawettan games in order to avoid fines and suspensions.
Meanwhile, De Pub FC beat Canada FC 1-0 in the ongoing Sifoe Nawettan game played at the Sifoe Football Field. Alagie Colley was on target for De Pub FC in the 63rd minute of the game.
Sateba United FC also beat Saranbelle FC on the same score-line. Sateba United’s lone goal was scored by Lamin F. Tabally in the 6th minute of the game from the penalty spot.
Elsewhere, Orlando FC drew goalless with Grant Cassa FC, while Ecomong FC also drew goalless with Titan FC in some crunch clashes.
