A driver called Naddie Kandeh was yesterday arraigned before Magistrate Jeng at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court, charged with rash and negligent act causing death.
He denied the charge and was granted court bail of D100,000 with two Gambian sureties.
The particulars of offence read that the defendant, Naddie Kandeh, on 16 September 2013, at New Yundung village, Kombo North, West Coast Region, drove a motor vehicle with registration number, BJL 3958J, in a rash and negligent manner, causing the death of one Maimuna Jallow.
The case was adjourned till 16 October 2013.
