Sawaneh is second top scorer

Gambian striker Ebrimah Sawaneh is second top scorer after giving Leuven the lead from the penalty spot in the 1-1 draw with Cercle Bruges on Saturday in the Belgian Pro league, according to bbc.

The 26-year-old footballer has 14 goals in his account in seventeen appearances. He was on top of the table of scorers during the past weeks but Bacca of Club Brugge has currently toppled him with just 15 goals.

Mustapha Jarjue’s Mons sank on Saturday after their 5-0 home defeat to Anderlecht. Dieudonne Mbokani scored a hat-trick for Anderlecht to remain at the top of the table with a five-point lead.

The Congo Democratic Republic striker becomes the third-highest goal scorer with 12 finishes.  Jarjue has so far 6 goals in 19 appearances.

Both Leuven and Mons are standing on 27 points on the table with Mons edging on goal difference.
