Sanna Nyassi, who moved from Colorado Rapids where he was playing last season to Montreal Impact  in the US MLS, had what looks like a poor start with new club when they conceded 2-0 on Saturday.

The Gambia international has so far made three appearances for the Canadian side, who just have a single point following their 1-1 draw against Chicago Fire in match two of the Major League Soccer.

They lost 2-0 to Whitecaps in the opening.

New England Revolution beat Portland Timbers 1-0 on Saturday to get first win in three matches since the start of the Major League Soccer.

Ken Abdoulie Mansally’s and Sainey Nyassi’s New England Revolution took just 28 seconds for Saer Sène to open the scoring and eventual winner of the day over  fellow countryman Mamadou Danso with the Portland Timbers.

Portland spent the next 89 minutes chasing the match to no avail.

Joseph set New England’s all-time mark for minutes played in the match and goalkeeper Matt Reis made his 1000th save, with both playing a major part in giving New England its sixth straight win in home openers, according to goal.com.
