LG Electronics on Friday inaugurated a new showroom in Brusubi, Kombo North of the Western Region.

The official inauguration was attended by senior LG officials and other companies’ officials, and customers. The unveiling of the new outfit was followed by a cocktail reception.

Speaking in an interview with journalists at the new showroom, Fady Hocheimy, executive director of LG, thanked all those who attended the opening of the new outlet.

According to him, LG has been operating as a sole agent in the country since 1991. “In 2005 we upgraded the

Kairaba Avenue
branch where we have done a wonderful job. We decided to move to Brusubi now because this area is a centre,” Mr Hocheimy said.

The materials they have in the outlet are all world class standard, he said, adding that most of the materials are from Korine and “this is what you will see in American showrooms or European showrooms”.

LG’s products are normally divided into two sections: the home appliances, which include refrigerators, air conditioners, and washing machines.  “The other section is the entertainment which include basically anything with audio and video,” he said.

“Our products are the latest and this is what you find in all showrooms all over the world, and our main purpose is customer service delivery,” he said, adding: “Any product one buys from our outlet we will make sure that we give a one-year guarantee.”

Philip Sambou, manager of LG Electronics, said the purpose of their company having a branch in Brusubi is to facilitate customers who have been patronizing them for a long time.

“We cannot do this without the customers; so we have basically come to Brusubi to help those around or within the surroundings to have easy access to LG products. Brusubi is just an extension of

Kairaba Avenue
,” he said.
