Real de Banjul move Ebrima Sanneh to KRA on loan

Dec 4, 2014, 10:30 AM

Sanneh, 19, joined Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) after his six-month loan with Nairobi City Stars ended.

President William Abraham told www.realdebanjul.gm: “We are glad to be able to negotiate a two-year loan deal for Ebrima with KRA. Things didn’t work out well for him at City Stars as they got relegated and we wanted strong competition for him, so the chance to stay in the Kenyan top division came in with KRA and we immediately agreed for his move.”

Abraham added: “He has a very bright future as he is a young and talented striker. We are hoping to see him develop more and become an asset to KRA and our country.”

“KRA is a very good team and has one of the best coaches in Kenya, whom I’ve met. I am looking forward to being part of his team and prove myself,” Ebrima told www.realdebanjul.gm from his base in Nairobi.

“I want to thank Real de Banjul for offering me this chance and I promise to do my job to the best of my ability,” he added.

Sanneh’s goal against Hawks led to the city boys being confirmed champions of Gambia after his goal and defender Bubacarr Sanneh’s strike sent the team seven points clear with two games to go at the time.

Everybody at Real de Banjul wishes Ebrima the best of luck with the taxmen.
