Birama Ndure, the plaintiff in the civil suit involving one Latiff Kalleh recently told the court how the claim of D21, 460 arisen between him and the defendant.
In his testimony, the plaintiff Birama Ndure told the court that, he is a resident of Serrekunda and used to sell salt. He said he knows the defendant and that he had given him 150 bags of salt under the agreement that payment would be effected within one month and ten days period.
According to the plaintiff, after one month ten days he went to the defendant who told him that he was traveling. He added that, after three months he went to the defendant again and asked him about the money. In reply, he said the defendant told him that he had given the salt to someone. And then put to the defendant that it was not the agreement. He said the defendant later gave him only D400.
