Gambian forward Ousman Jallow and midfielder Paul Jatta's Brondby conceded a late goal to Swedish giants AIK Stockholm in Tuesday's friendly at home, as part of preparation before the start of the Danish Superliga in mid-July.
Brondby, in Tuesday's fighting found it hard to penetrate AIK Stockholm tight 4-4-2-formation, as the Swedish team is good at keeping the organisation.
After finishing 3rd last season and booking a spot in the UEFA Europa league, the Gambian stars and Brondby, are set on an intensive pre-season. They are set for a trip to Holland where they will focus on tactical preparations.
"We have trained very hard physically, which you can see during the friendly. We have so far deliberately focused on the physical aspect to get players in a good shape as possible towards the new season," says Kim Daugaard.
"At training camp, we have plenty of time to refine different tactical things that are important to the team working. One thing is certain: We are ready when the season kicks-off on 15 July," said Assistant Coach Kim Daugaard.
Brondby will open the season with a UEFA Europa league clash against Vaduz on July 14th before playing away to Randers, marking their first clash of the Superliga on July 18th
