Yunus Manneh, a one-year-old boy residing in Tallinding in the Kanifing Municipality, is seeking support from the government, the private sector, parastatals, donors, philanthropists, NGOs, and individuals to help him undergo medical treatment abroad.
According to a medical report issued by Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital in Banjul dated 9 September 2013, Yunus is currently suffering from meningitis that cannot be treated in the country.
Yunus’s father Sulayman Manneh said his son has been seriously sick since birth, adding that he needs urgent support to undergo medical treatment abroad.
Manneh is appealing to the government, the private sector, parastatals, donors, philanthropists, NGOs, and individuals to come to their aid for them to be able to ferry Yunus abroad for treatment.
