Hakanpaa, in the 44 minutes, gave HJK the opener and minutes later, Savage hit HJK’s break with a two-goal lead and his 9th goal of the season.
Joel Pohjanpalo painted HJK third in the 62nd minute and hit the last pin to the match by the evening his second and HJK’s fourth.
The victory now sends the Finnish Champions on 47 points and two points behind leaders.
HJK will face current leaders Inter Turku next Sunday at the Sonera Stadium.
