To date, the Olympic Day Run has been a firm pillar of the celebration of the Olympic Day throughout the world and it is the biggest mass sports in the world, organised to celebrate the founding of the modern Olympic Movement (IOC).
This celebration will take place in The Gambia on 3rd July 2010 in the form of road race (3k), volleyball Gala, handball, and kids athletics at the Olympafrica Centre in Serrekunda East for school children within the centre, commencing at 9:00 am, courtesy of the Gambia National Olympic Committee, which is the Ambassador of the Olympic Movement in the country, in collaboration with the Olympafrica Centre, Serrekunda East.
Beside the activities, Olympic Day is a great opportunity for a large audience to experience outside Games times and to bring people from all walks of life.
