Gunjur
Sports Committee has suspended Smiling Coast Real Estate FC for three years
after their fans invaded Gunjur Nyamina Football Field during the 2016 Green
Vision International Real Estate Company Limited-sponsored Gunjur nawettan
league quarterfinal match, between Red Star Family FC and Waves FC, on 22
September 2016.
The
Gunjur Sanchaba-based outfit were also fined D7,000 for invading Gunjur Nyamina
Football Field.
Jerreh
Fofana and Jerreh Jabang were suspended for two years for taking part in
invading the field and they “will not play in any GFF recognised major nawettan
centres”.
Ebrima
Lowe alias Angulo, the assistant coach of Smiling Coast FC, who also doubles as
the president of Gunjur fan club, has been suspended from taking part in all
the activities of Gunjur Sports Committee after
partaking in invading the field during Red Star Family FC quarterfinal
clash with Waves FC on 22 September 2016.
Solid
Properties FC were fined D5,000 after their fans and some officials physically
assaulted match officials following their 1-0 defeat to Kundembo FC in the 2016
Green Vision International Real Estate Company Limited-sponsored Gunjur
Nawettan league quarterfinal game played on 20 September 2016, at the Gunjur
Nyamina Football Field.
Demba
F. Janneh, head coach of Solid Properties FC, Muhammed Jabang, an official of
Solid Properties FC, Fabai Janneh, a player of Solid Properties FC, Lamin Gibba
alias Kaka and Yankuba Janneh were each fined D1,000 for physically assaulting
match officials after Solid Properties FC 1-0 defeat to Kundembo FC in the 2016
Green Vision-sponsored Gunjur nawettan league quarterfinal match played on 20
September 2016.
Meanwhile,
Ousman Janneh alias Jannehkoto is banned indefinitely after assaulting match
officials following Solid Properties FC’s 1-0 defeat to Kundembo FC in the 2016
Green Vision-sponsored Gunjur nawettan league quarterfinal match played on 20
September 2016, at the Gunjur Nyamina Football Field.
