Old Jeshwang Volleyball team recovered from their three sets to one defeat in the hands of Gamtel/Gamcel to beat Brikama Volleyball team by three straight set in the Gambia Volleyball Association (GVBA) National Volleyball League, at the Gambia College Volleyball Lawn, in Brikama on Wednesday 30th June 2010.
Speaking to the Head Coach of Old Jeshwang Male Volleyball team, Paul Gomez, said that when they lost to Gamtel/Gamcel Male Volleyball team in their opening game of the league they had prepared well for the game.
Gomez also expressed confidence that his team can win the league, adding that his boys are determined and have shown that they can do it.
He also said that they would prepare well for their next game against Interior Male Volleyball team so that they can carry the day.
Paul said Brikama has a very good side, but was quick to add that Old Jeshwang is a better side than Brikama.
He finally urged the fans of Old Jeshwang Volleyball team to come out in their large numbers and support the team.
