NYP To Convene Stakeholders Briefing Today

The National Youth Parliament of the Gambia as part of its activities marking 30 days activism will today convene a one-day stakeholders briefing and breakfast show, at the Paradise Suites Hotel in Kololi, on the theme "In search of collective solution to the youth illegal migration".

The forum, according to the organisers, will provide opportunities for young people to discuss with stakeholders, with a view to mapping out ways forward for illegal migration in the Gambia.

The forum also aims at creating dialogue among young people and stakeholders in the sprit of partnership, and thereby promoting the enabling environment and build synergy in responding to the challenges poised by illegal migration.

The National Youth Parliament of the Gambia is a youth representative network of seven regional parliaments across the country.

Its aim and objectives, among others, are to promote and uphold the principles of good governance, democracy, youth development, as well as inculcate responsible citizenship in the minds and hearts of young people.
