Nyarry Tally Demolish Brikama United in int’l friendly

Senegalese premier league side Nyarry Tally on Sunday beat Gambian premier tier side Brikama United 5-2 in an international friendly match played at the Brikama mini stadium.

The Dakar-based outfit made a flying start to the game and created some clinical goal-scoring opportunities; opening the scores through playmaker Abdulaye Ba in the 5th minute of the game from a long range shot to give his side the lead.

Striker Kabba Jobe levelled the scores for Brikama United in the 8th minute of the game to cancel Ba’s 5th minute opener.

Striker Mamadou Niang put the Senegalese side back in the lead in the 27th minute of the game from penalty, after Brikama United defender Baboucarr Senghore brought down Musa Ndiaye inside the eighteen yards box to make it 2-1 for the visitors.

Abdulaye Ba netted the third goal for Senegalese premier league side in the 50th minute of the game after slashing through Brikama United defence line to complete his brace.

Mamadou Niang notch in the fourth goal in the 65th minute of the game to complete his brace, before striker Sainey Bojang pull back one goal for Brikama United in the 70th minute of the game from Saikouba Manneh’s excellent cross, which eventually proved to be a consolation goal for the Gambian premier league side.

Brikama United responded back for an equalizer and came very close to scoring on numerous occasion through winger Saikouba Manneh, Sainey Bojang and Bakary Daffeh aka Kanu in the 55th, 60th and 74th minutes of the game, but missed all their limited goal-scoring opportunities.

Substitute Moussa Ndiaye scored the fifth goal for the Senegalese top flight side in the dying minutes of the game, from a brilliant finish to snatch a resounding win over hosts Brikama United.

As part of their pre-season training, the Senegalese premier league side will now play against Brikama zonal team in an international friendly set for Tuesday 28 October 2014, at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.
