Gambian striker Momodou Ceesay's Slovakian side Zilina will face premier league Champions, Chelsea in the group stages of the Champions League, according to the Champions league draw yesterday.
Zilina became the third Slovakian team to reach the group stage after Momodou Ceesay's goal was confirmed a victory on Wednesday.
After Jatto Ceesay in 2002, with William II and Seyfo Solly with Genk in 2006, Momodou Ceesay is the third and youngest Gambian player to make champions league appearance.
Coach P. Hapal side other opponents in Group F are Marseille and Spartak Moscow.
The first round of group games will take place on Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th September, with the final to take place at Wembley on 28th May 2011.
The Champions League is the most lucrative football competition in the world and the group stages alone are worth over £11m to each club involved.
Last year’s winners Inter Milan received almost £40m in prize money.
Meanwhile, the draw for the group stage of the Europa League also takes place at Monaco's Grimaldi Forum at about 1200 BST on Friday.
