Gambian
international Modou Barrow is part of the invited foreign-based players called
up for the Scorpions final Afcon Qualifier match to Cameroon in September.
The
Premier League star amongst a few other Gambian foreign-based players in Europe
and Asia was sent his invitation earlier last week through his club Swansea
City FC, who have confirmed receipt of the correspondence thus Barrow is
expected to join the home-based squad shortly before the team leaves for
Cameroon.
Other
notable invitees include Baboucarr Trawally (China), Buba Sanneh (Denmark),
Lamin Jallow (Italy), Bakary Njie (Bulgaria), Assan Ceesay (Switzerland), Hamza
Barry (Israel), Tijan Jaiteh (Finland), Omar Colley (Genk), Mustapha Caroyol
(England).
The
invited players are expected to assemble in Banjul latest Monday 29 August en
bound for Cameroon.
The
Scorpions play the Indomitable Lions on Saturday September 3rd in Limbe.
