Miami enjoyed a dramatic 5-4 penalty shootout success over Marcos, to claim this year's supercup title at the Gambia Senior Secondary School playing ground on Saturday, after a well-attended final failed to produce a winner in the regulation time.
After laying a hard-fought encounter which saw them lift the championship title at the expense of the determined Marcus side, Miami went home with a trophy and cash prize of D5000, while Marcus the runners-up received D4, 000.
The final has already paved the way for the participating teams to battle it out, as the race for yet another Nawettan competition intensifies in the capital city.
