The summer football showdown better known as Nawettan continues to gain momentum across the length and breadth of the country, with Dahaba FC thrashing Manji United FC in the ongoing Manjai Kunda Nawettan season at the community’s biggest football arena called the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda on Sunday.
The mouth-watering clash was characterized by a spectacular display of skills and panache, and attracted spectators from Manjai Kunda and its satellite areas.
However, it was Dahaba FC who carried the after scoring two excellent goals in each half to snatch a resounding victory over Manji United FC and bagged the maximum points.
Filan FC came from behind to draw 2-2 with Black Pool FC in a tightly contested game, and Kololi United beat Elton FC 1-0 in a keenly contested game, while Giant FC defeated Tigers FC 1-0.
