Magistrate Jallow of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court recently convicted and sentenced a man called Alpha Omar Bah to a fine of D5,000 in default to serve twelve months in prison, upon his own plea of guilt for attempting to commit a felony.
According to the charge sheet, on 29 April 2011, at Cape Point in Bakau, in the Kanifing Municipality, the convicted Alpha Omar Bah attempted to commit a felony to wit carrying a bag with its contents.
