Man Committed to Community Service

One Buba Jallow of Busumbala Village was on Monday committed to one month community service by the Brikama Magistrates' Court presided over by Magistrate John Njie.

Mr Jallow was arraigned in court charged with common assault and criminal trespass both offences contrary to the laws of The Gambia.

He was said to have assaulted one Miss Amie Sanneh by slapping her on the face and also said to have entered the compound of the complainant with intent to intimidate or annoy her. All the offences were said to have happened on the 22nd July 2008.
