A man called Joseph Mendy was recently arraigned at the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with stealing from a dwelling house.
The particulars of offence revealed that on 18 November 2011, at Pipeline, in the Kanifing Municipality, the accused, Joseph Mendy, stole from the house of one Ali Houdrouge the following: one HP laptop marked Aspire valued at D25,000, one digital camera marked Sony valued at D8,000 and an I-Pod valued at D3,500.
Mendy pleaded guilty and the case was adjourned till 28 November 2011, for the facts to be presented before the court.
