One Munir Touray, a resident of Kiti village, was on Wednesday 13 October 2010 arraigned before Magistrate AK Ceesay of the Brikama Magistrates' Court charged with assault causing grievous bodily harm.
According to the charge sheet, on 12th October 2010 at Kiti village, the accused person, Munir Touray, assaulted one Sunkarr Daffeh by chopping her with a cutlass on her head.
He accepted the charge preferred against him, and was granted bail in the sum of D1,000 with a Gambian surety.
The case was adjourned to 25th October 2010 for facts and judgment.
