One Demba Sowe, a resident of Farafenni and a Senegalese national, was recently arraigned before Justice Emmanuel NKea of the Special Criminal Court for allegedly deflowering an underage girl.
According to the particulars of the offence, between January and April 2012, at Farafenni Mauritani, North Bank Region, the accused, Demba Sowe, unlawfully had carnal knowledge of a girl under the age of 18.
He denied the charge preferred against him, and the case was adjourned.
