One Saidou
Juma Camara, charged with the offence of threatening violence, was recently
acquitted and discharged by Principal Magistrate Ibrahim Kijera of the Bundung
Magistrates’ Court.
Delivering his judgment, the trial magistrate pointed out that the prosecution called three witnesses in support of their case.
He said that after going through the evidence of the prosecution witnesses and also touched on the issue of provocation, the magistrate concluded and held that the evidence of PW2 and PW3 was cooked up, which was meant to frame the accused person.
He therefore acquitted and discharged the accused person.
