Tragedy
struck the community of Tujereng in the Kombo South District of the West Coast
Region when Wuyeh Bah, 32, was reportedly stabbed to death by one Bakary
Manneh, The Point has been reliably informed.
The
suspect who stabbed the victim with a knife is currently at large as police
launched a search for him.
A
source that spoke to our reporter on the condition of anonymity said the suspect’s
parents were detained by police as investigation into the matter continues.
Our
source added: “The suspect and the victim who were both living in the same
compound in Tujereng quarrelled over a tea cup. The suspect decided to enter
his house and remove a knife and stabbed the victim leaving him in a pool of
blood.”
Our
source added that the parents of the suspect advised him to flee. The victim
was pronounced dead before he reached the hospital.
The
body of the deceased was at the country’s main referral hospital for
postmortem.
