Alhagie Sheriff Ajeh Janneh, chief of Kombo South, has urged fans to maintain discipline and tolerance in the ongoing Gambia Football Federation-sponsored super nawettan.

Chief Janneh was speaking to reporters shortly after the super nawettan match between Lamin and Gunjur played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium on Tuesday.

The chief advised the fans to exercise patience, discipline and tolerance during the championship, adding that indiscipline has no room in football and sport in general.

He also advised the players to take their training serious in order to realise their target in the championship.

Chief Janneh further assured the players that Gunjurians would continue to pray for the team for them to realise their objective in the championship.

The chief hailed Gunjur zonal team for their 2-1 win over Lamin in the 2015 super nawettan opening group B tie.
