Khalifa General of Kerr Mamma, Alhaji Ahmad Cherno Jallow and brothers have
announced the postponement of their 23rd annual Ziyarrah.
The annual religious gathering was due to take place in Kerr Mamma, Upper Nuimi District in the North Bank Region on Saturday 4th April 2020. The postponement is in response to the grave concern and severe impact of the global coronavirus pandemic as measures are taken by authorities throughout the world to mitigate its spread.
“My brothers and I are inform all Daira’s, relatives, Talibes of Kerr Mamma Hadara and Muslims communities in The Gambia, Senegal, Guinea Conakry, Guinea Bissau, Mali, Mauritania, Diaspora and the whole sub-region that the 23rd annual Ziarrah of the Late Alhaji Mamma Jallow that was scheduled to take place in Kerr Mamma, on Saturday 4th April 2020 has been postponed,” Khalifa General Alhaji Ahmad Cherno Jallow said.
