Jambanjelly Utd slaps New Yundum in WCR 3rd Division

Jambanjelly United on Saturday thumped New Yundum 7-0 in the week eight fixtures played at the Farato Football Field, to move three points clear in the 2014 West Coast Region third division league.

The Jam City boys convincing victory over embattled New Yundum helped them to movethree points ahead of second-place Gunjur United, who drew goalless with Brufut United at the Brufut Football Field on Sunday.

Brikama beat Farato United 1-0 at the Farato Football Field; whilst Nema United drew goalless with Kombo Kerewan United at the Nema Kunku Football Field.

Sifoe United drew 1-1 with Busumbala United at the Sifoe Football Field, whilst Foni Berefet defeated Black and White of Berending 2-1at the Berending Football Field.

Jambanjelly United are leading the table with 17 points in eight games, Gunjur United, Brufut United and Brikama are in 2nd, 3rd and 4th places respectively with 14 points each in eight games.

Kombo Kerewan United and Sifoe United are 5th and 6th places with 13 points each in eight games, Busumbala United are in 7th place with 10 points in eight games and Foni Berefet are in 8th place with 9 points in eight games.

Black and White are in 9th place with 7 points in eight games, Farato United are in 10th place with 5 points in seven games, with a game in hand against Nema United.

Nema United are in 2nd place from bottom with 4 points in seven games, with a game in hand against Farato United, whilst New Yundum are still rooted at the bottom with only two points in eight games.
