Village Football Field is set to host the 2017 Berewuleng Football
Club-sponsored Kombo South district football tournament rescheduled final
between Farato and Batokunku.
The
Kombo South District Sports Committee shifted the final to Jambanjelly Football
Field after the first final was erupted by violence at the Sanyang Football
Field on 30 July 2017.
The
match score-line was goalless with 18 minutes to go before full time.
The
final was witnessed by the president of the Gambia Football Federation, Kabba
Bajo, Alagie S. Darboe, National Assembly Member for Brikama North and other
important dignitaries.
