Ousman Jallow came twice to scoring on Monday night during Brondby IF goal-less draw of the first round of the playoffs in the reserve team tournament away to OB.
Jallow has unfortunately burnt match best chance when he was completely free in the box, but failed to hit the target when his side had best started and has already had two endings after a few minutes into the game, according to club’s site.
OB was favoured with a team that was a mixture of seasoned forces such as Bernard Mendy and Eric Djemba-Djemba, while Brondby met up with Daniel Was, Ousman Jallow, Brent McGrath, Daniel Stenderup in the squad.
In the second 15 minutes into the game with Brondby’s right side having a good grip on OB’s left, Jallow had another great chance when OB’s attentive goalkeeper with the help of the goal pole, had to rescue a beautiful header.
Jallow, who was linked with a move to Brann, Norway, was later substituted in the 45th minute in place of Beran Camili, who also did very little to change the goal-less game.
Since Brondby were unable to score, the two teams therefore picked a point with OB getting a second chance to pick up three points on Tuesday 8 March, when the team hosts AC Horsens.
The Brondby IF coaching staff, who selected a mixture of A-squad players, A-Talents and U-19 and U-17 players for the game, is looking forward to the start of the Danish Superliga opener at the Brondby Stadium between Brondby IF and Lyngby BK on Sunday.
