China wants the world to build a strong global partnership to bring about a more just, fair and equitable international order beneficial to mankind. The idea was born out of the Chinese heart of live and let live and there is enough for the planet’s needs. China under the visionary leadership of His Excellency Xi Jin Ping, the worlds number one President, has always advocated for a global community of shared future. China is the only country by all accounts that has been resolutely committed to an international architecture that is equitable, fair and beneficial to all countries in the world. This has been amply demonstrated through the implementation of the spirit and actions of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, the Belt and Roads Projects in Asia, Africa and elsewhere, Forum for China- Africa Cooperation framework and actions, BRICS, Multilateral and Bilateral assistance programs and development, opening the doors of China for trade, import/ exports on highly concessionary terms of tariffs, scholarships to developing countries to access Universities and Training institutes for their manpower development needs, cultural exchanges and so forth among others, all geared towards global cooperation and to a world of common prosperity and shared future. This is part of the spirit of the Chinese march in the process of a transformative Nation. And indeed, China is a Nation in progress and in development. China’s Global Governance Initiatives and advocacy must be seen as firmly rooted on moral, philosophical, socioeconomic, cultural and principled grounds of LIVE and LET LIVE. As Mahatma Gandhi said, this planet has enough for the world’s needs but not enough for the world’s creed. China therefore, argues that existing global institutions do not adequately represent developing countries and that global governance needs reform. China formally proposed the Global Governance Initiative on September 1st, 2025 through President Xi Jin Ping at the Shanghai  Cooperation Organisation Summit in Tianjin. Based on China’s Foreign Policy position on the non-interference in the internal affairs of countries, China’s Global Governance Initiative is a moral booster for a new world order in which all countries in the world will live in peace, development and common prosperity for a shared future. This is not a question of sphere of influence in the world, neocolonialism or otherwise. It is democracy in international relations and unstoppable actions in the international architecture that  benefits the world and developing countries in particular. There is nothing stopping other world powers in similar actions to save the world from wars, poverty, injustice, lawlessness, bad governance and underdevelopment.
