Interior register first victory as Hawks languish at bottom

Interior Register their first win in six matches so far in the Gambia Football Association twelve-team league with an emphatic 2-1 win over Hawks during the weekend.

The victory has now earned them eight points and fourth behind leaders Gamtel, while GPA and Steve Biko are currently at 13 and 10 points, respectively in the league standing.

Lamin Jammeh, alias Dugal, Assistant Coach of Interior FC, reacting to this development, told Pointsport that he was not surprise collecting the maximum three points from Hawks FC.

Interior whose main objective is to stay in the First Division next fixtures will be against Armed Forces as Assistant Coach. Jammeh is of the belief that he respects Armed Forces as a team, but the game is going to be well- contested.

The Red Devils, Hawks FC are yet to produce an impressive result having found themselves at the bottom of the table.

The team, according to Ansu Fatty, Assistant Coach is faced with their worse moments as they only managed to collect three points from six games.
