Blue boys Wallidan will clash with the newly promoted side Serrekunda United in the week two fixtures of the 2011/ 12Gambia Football Association division one league today, 24 January 2012 at the Banjul KG5 Mini-stadium.
Wallidan, who are yet to collect a point in the new season, will be hoping to bounce back following their 2-1 defeat to Young Africans in the opening game last week, while Serrekunda United have managed to collect a single point in one game after their 1-1 draw against fellow newly promoted side Hawks earlier last week.
Samger will meet Gambia Ports Authority at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium in the other week two fixtures.
Samger are also yet to collect a point as they suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Bakau giant killers Steve Biko in the week one fixtures played at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium.
Gambia Ports Authority have managed to collect a single point in one game and will be expecting a win in order to close the gap on the early pacesetters Armed Forces, who have recorded the biggest score line so far with a 2-nil win over Real de Banjul.
Elsewhere, Bakau United will rub shoulders with Young Africans in the other week two game at the Independence Stadium in Bakau the same day.
Bakau United have collected one point in one game, while Young Africans have collected 3 points in one game.
On Wednesday 25 January 2012, current league champions Brikama United will resume the defence of their crown when they travel to Banjul to meet Hawks at the Banjul KG5 Mini-stadium.
Brikama United and Hawks both have bagged 1 point in one outing and both will be determined to register their first victory in the 12-club championship.
Bakau giant killers Steve Biko, who beat Samger 1-0 in the week one fixtures last week, will face city boys Real De Banjul, who lost to Armed Forces 2-0 in the opening day of the new league season.
That match, which promises to be a cracking encounter, will take place at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
FA and Super Cup champions Gamtel, who drew goalless against the reigning champions Brikama United in the opening day of the league season, will battle it out with Armed Forces, who thrashed Real De Banjul 2-0 in the week one fixtures, at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda.
