Impersonator docked

A man accused of impersonating in the name of a person on certificate was recently arraigned at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court.

Ousainou Touray admitted to the charge and was granted court bail of D10, 000 with a Gambian surety.

The charge sheet that was read in court stated that the accused, Ousainou Touray, on 1 November 2011, at the Banjul International Airport, presented a Gambian Passport PC 101716863, bearing the name of one John Karmo Gomez to the profiling officer at the Spanish Airline.

The case at this juncture was adjourned till 28 November 2011, for the facts to be presented before the court.
