Housebreaker granted bail

A man called Mustapha Drammeh was recently granted court bail of D70, 000 by the Brikama Magistrates’ Court, after he was arraigned on a charge of housebreaking.

According to the particulars of offence on count one, on 3 September 2011, at Brikama Nyambai, in the West Coast Region, the accused, Mustapha Drammeh, broke into the house of one Alpha Omar Jallow, with intent to commit a felony.

Count two read that Drammeh stole the following: a flat screen valued at D16, 000, cash of D7, 000, 300,000 CFA, seven packets of dresses valued at D4, 650, three Nokia phones valued at D3, 000, and other six mobile phones valued at D9, 000, a trouser costing D600 and one LCD lamp valued at D90.

Drammeh pleaded guilty of the charge and the case was adjourned till 28 November 2011, for the facts to be presented before the court.
