Immigration defeated Busumbala 2-0 in a well-contested game in group D encounter of the ongoing West Coast Region third division qualifiers at the Farato football field on Saturday.
Immigration opened the scoring through striker Modou Keita in the 33rd minute of the game thanks to a spectacular strike that gave his side the lead.
Moments later, Immigration found themselves 2-0 up in the 45th minute of the game when striker James Sambou penetrated Busumbala’s defence line to extend Immigration’s lead.
Busumbala fought hard for an equaliser but could not break through Immigration’s solid defence line and as a result, the game ended 2-0 in favour of Immigration.
Immigration are currently leading group D with 3 points in one game, while Busumbala are rooted at the bottom of group D with zero point in one game.
