Brikama Veterans team came from a one-nil down to beat Sukuta Veterans 3-1 in the ongoing Gambia Football Coaches Association (GFCA) veteran football tournament at the Brikama Box Mini-stadium on Monday.
Sukuta opened the scoring through Abdou K. Bojang in the 15th minute of the game after breaking through Brikama Veterans team’s defensive set-up to give his side the lead before Faba Sanneh levelled the score in the 25th minute of the game from a close-range strike.
Lamin Bojang and Saidou Janneh netted the second and third goals for Brikama Veterans in the 35th and 60th minutes respectively to secure a 3-1 score line for Brikama veterans.
