The
Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) has issued a statement saying it is
preparing to conduct the National Assembly Elections in pursuance to section 96
of the country’s constitution.
According
to the IEC, the National Assembly elections is scheduled for Thursday 6 April
2017 and the Local Government elections for Thursday 12 April 2018.
