According
to official sources, four managing directors were on Thursday removed from
their posts and replaced.
The
four removed were Lamin Sanyang,
managing director of the Gambia Ports
Authority, replaced by Abdoulie Tambedou, who was previously MD of GPA;
Baboucarr Sanyang, managing director of Gamtel, replaced by Soulayman
Susso, who was director of Co-Network of
Gamtel; Sidi Jaiteh, who served at Gamtel, and has been reinstated and
appointed as deputy managing director of Gamtel; Edward Graham, managing
director of Social Security and Housing Finance Corporation (SSHFC) replaced
by Mohamed Manjang, who was working at
Standard Chartered Bank, Kenya; Ebrima Sanyang, managing director of NAWEC, has
been replaced by Baba Fatajo, whose service was terminated as Power Supply
director in 2015 and replaced by Mr Sanyang.
