Last year’s relegated outfit Hawks football club of Banjul will clash with Starlight in week two fixtures of the ongoing Gambia Football Association second division league, today at the KG5 Mini Stadium in Banjul, and is sure to be a mout-watering contest.
Hawks could only manage a single point which came during their opening goalless draw against Banjul United, a few days ago.
Starlight are pointless as they opened their campaign with a hard fought 1-0 defeat to Tallinding United recently.
The current league leaders, Nema United, on three points, will face Seaview in the other game in the week two fixtures at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda.
Seaview who continue to struggle to find their form are rooted at the bottom of the league standings with zero, as they succumbed to a shocking opening math defeat to Serrekunda East in week one fixtures.
In a separate development, Friends of Bakau Lower Basic School based in the UK, recently donated two sets of jerseys, two sets of socks and four footballs to the school.
The donation, according to officials, is part of their contribution towards the development of sports in the school.
