As the summer biggest football gala draw nearer in the country, Gunjur Youth and Sports Development Association (GYSDA) on Sunday held meeting with the relegated and the new teams that want to participate in the 2014-2015 Gunjur Nawettan qualifiers at the Gunjur Day Care Centre.
The meeting was meant to discuss the forthcoming Gunjur Nawettan qualifiers, as the summer biggest football festivity draws closer in the country.
Speaking at the meeting the first vice-president of GYSDA, Lamin Darboe aka Darboe C, said the meeting was organised to discuss the forthcoming Gunjur Nawettan qualifiers as Ramadan is fast approaching, adding that GYSDA wants to stage the qualifiers before Ramadan.
The second vice-president of GYSDA, Alieu Darboe, thanked the relegated teams and new ones for attending the meeting, saying GYSDA did not have any sponsorship for the Nawettan and relied on GFF referees to officiate their matches during the Nawettan.
The registration fee for the 2014-2015 Gunjur Nawettan qualifiers is pegged at D2,000 and deadline for registration is 8 June 2014.
