The Gambia Ports Authority failed to turn down a 2-0 defeat to Cassa Sport of Ziguinchorr in the first leg by loosing 1-0 in the return leg of the competition at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium yesterday.
The keenly contested game attracted a large number of sports personalities from both the Gambia and Senegal and spectators from Serrekunda East and its surrounding environs with fans drumming and dancing from all angles of the field.
Gambia Ports Authority were reduced to ten men in the 25th minute when Saloum Faal was sent off after been shown a direct red card for a tackle on Mama Sarr Chone.
Mamadou Mustapha Manneh scored the only goal of the game for Casa Sport in the 54th minute of game from a sensible header after capitalising on Alagie Jackson's goalkeeping error.
Gambia Ports Authority Bun Gaye missed a penalty in the 78th minute of the game when defender Abdoulie Jallow made a hand ball inside Cassa Sport eighteen yard box resulting to Abdoulie Jallow to be sent off after been shown a second yellow card.
