Sports Journalists off to Los Angeles

The Gambia
National Olympic Committee (GNOC) will today, Tuesday 27th January 2015, hand
over sports equipment to four sports associations at a ceremony at Olympic
House on Bertil Harding Highway, Mile 7, Bakau.
The sports equipment was secured by GNOC for athletics, the handball, volleyball and basketball associations, a press release announced.
The listed Olympic sports were identified with the objective of creating the enabling environment in order to increase the chances of Gambia’s participation in the Olympic Games, in line with the strategic plan of the GNOC, the release added.
