The 2011-2012 Gambia Football Association GFA second division league wrapped up at the weekend, as part of the Week 18 fixtures played at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.
Serrekunda East FC thrashed Tallinding United 3-0 in an all-Serrekunda East derby game.
Sankung Ceesay opened the score for Serrekunda East in the 28th minute of the game before Salif Krubally netted the second and third goals for Serrekunda East in the 45th and 91st minutes of the game respectively to complete his brace.
Lamin United lost to Latrikunda United 2-1 at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium, while Gunjur United defeated struggling Starlight FC 1-0 at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
Banjul United and Sait Matty game was called off after a clash, as well as the Interior against Seaview game.
Seaview and Interior have been promoted to the premier tier after finishing first and second positions on the table.
Seaview have bagged 1st position with 43 points in eighteen games and at 2nd position Interior FC finished the league with 36 points in eighteen games.
Sait Matty are 3rd position with 32 points in eighteen games, Serrekunda East are 4th position with 29 points in eighteen games, while Lamin United and Latrikunda United are occupying 5th and 6th positions with 19 points each in eighteen games.
Tallinding United are 7th with 18 points in eighteen games and Gunjur United 8th position with 17 points in eighteen games.
Banjul United are struggling 2nd from bottom with 16 points with a game in hand against Sait Matty, which was called off due to a clash, while Starlight finished at the bottom of the table with 13 points in eighteen games.
