The association’s membership of landscape artists, caloric artists and imaginative artists had their works showcased on Friday.
Micheal Manga, secretary general of the association, said they aimed at setting standards in the field of arts to inject professionalism.
“We also aimed at bring together veteran Gambians artists for the young ones to learn from them,” he said.
Manga urged the public to be buying their artistic work.
Claude Pogglolli, director at Alliance Francaise, said they gave a chance to Gestu Arts Association to showcase their artwork to the audience.
“These works will be displayed for four weeks as Alliance Francaise is open to all who stand for cultural diversity,” he said.
Dr. Cherno Barry, Alliance Francaise board chairperson, said the association is meant to promote networking among artists within and beyond The Gambia.
