The telecommunication giants Gamtel were held to a 1-1 draw by Bakau United in the re-scheduled week seventeen fixtures of the 2010-2011 Gambia Football Association division one league at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on Tuesday.
Bakau United opened the scoring through striker Pa Dodou Njie “aka” Ozil in the 25th minute after a superb taken strike to give his side the lead before Saja Jarjusey cancelled the score in the 65th minute.
The draw has placed Gamtel at 5th position on the league standings with 30 points in twenty-one games and they have a game to go.
Bakau United occupied 8 positions 0n the league table with 23 points in twenty-one games and they also have one game remaining.
