Telecommunications giants Gamtel FC will rub shoulders with Horea FC of Guinea Conakry in the first leg of the third round of the WAFU Club Competition on Sunday 21 August 2011 at the Independence Stadium in Bakau at 4.30pm.
The Guinean team is expected to arrive in Banjul today.
Gamtel FC advanced to the third round of the WAFU club competition after eliminating Senegalese side Niarry Talli FC on post-match penalty shootout.
That result followed their goalless draw in the regulation time in the second leg tie at the Independence Stadium in Bakau sometime last month.
The ticket prices for Sunday’s encounter are as follows: VIP D100, covered pavilion D50 and uncovered pavilion D25.
The Gambia Football Association is calling on the general public to come out in their large numbers to support Gamtel FC in their bid to progress to the next stage of the competition.
