Gamstar FC register 1st win at west

Gamstar FC on Saturday 28th August 2010 defeated German Boys FC 1-nil to register their first win in three games in the Serrekunda West Sports Organisation (SWESO) Nawetaan, at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium.

Modou Sarr scored the only goal of the game in the 36th minute to give his side all three points.

The win saw them collect three points in three games, while German Boys FC collected four points in three games.

Earlier on Friday 27th August 2010, at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium, Tigers FC defeated Pipeline QCELL FC by 2-1.Tigers FC’s goals were scored by Francis Senghore and Babucarr Badjan in the 29th and 49th respectively. Tigers FC now collected seven points in three games.

Meanwhile, Elton’s poor form continues with yet another disappointing 1-nil defeat in the hands of Smiling Coast, as the Bakau Nawettan gathered pace at its dilapidated mini- stadium.

The Bakau New Town side started the campaign with an embarrassing 3-1 defeat to Mamakoto a week ago before going further to register what appears to be the team’s worst start to the championship, leaving their fate out of their hands.

Super cup champions Vidar recorded one of the most impressive results of the campaign after they beat struggling Bremen Border 4-nil in a clash of titans.
